William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin has more than 30 years’ experience in the fields of software development and consulting, in both technical and management positions. Prior to his current role, he was General Manager of Xplor International, and was Vice-President of Product Marketing at Xenos. Bill has been active in professional education for many years, having developed and delivered courses on technical subjects in the US and Europe. In addition, he and Interquest jointly produced a video program entitled “Basic Concepts of Electroni Printing”. Bill was the first person in the world to simultaneoulsy hold the EDP from Xplor, the MIT and LIT from AIIM, and the CDIA from CompTIA. He received the m-edp (Master Electronic Document Professional) designation from Xplor in 2010. |

Dr. Michael Turton has been designing documents for over two decades during which time he witnessed the birth of desktop printing and laser production printers. He established Cavendish Consultants in 1992, principally to design mission critical transactional documents and forms. His designs not only look good but work well, a combination of form and function. When he is not designing documents he helps companies develop and implement document strategies whose justifications are not so much ‘How much?’ but rather ‘What is the cost of not having one?’ |

Kevin Lantaff brings over 30 years of printing and publishing experience from positions with suppliers, service providers, and customers. In his consulting business he focuses on customer insight and communications, digital publishing and printing, and business culture and ethics. Kevin is well versed in all production process steps, and technologies and architectures used within the Corporate, Commercial and Direct Marketing segments. Career highlights include AFP architecture and support, leading the effort and launch at IBM InfoPrint Solutions into the Commercial market, market segment manager and industry marketing roles for production solutions, consulting on 1:1 direct marketing and PURL systems, and launching complex database publishing applications. |

Roberta McKee-Jackson has 27 years market development and programme management expertise in digital document communications. She serves as Director of Operations for the Xplor UK & Ireland Ltd region, as well as Editor-in-Chief of e•views Journal. Roberta received her edp certification in 1994, recertifying in 2000, 2005, and 2010; was honoured as an OutputLinks Woman of Distinction in 2002; and received a special award for long-standing dedicated service to Xplor International in 2010. |

Neil Merchant has over 35 years’ experience in IT, the last 20 years almost exclusively in the transactional document lifecycle and management space. As project manager, technical architect, and strategist for American Express, he led the establishment and implementation of document strategies spanning the entire business process, including the development of an enterprise statementing strategy that represented a global point of arrival for this capability. Neil has also been an active leader in both Xplor International and the Xplor UK &. Ireland region, serving on the Association Board of Directors and the Region board. He has been a regular speaker at Xplor conferences in North America and the UK. Neil earned his Xplor edp certification in 1999 and recertified in 2004 and 2009.. |

Wendy retired from Prinova Technologies in 2010 where she was with the professional services team as a Senior Consultant for six years. Prior to joining Prinova, Wendy’s career in the document industry had culminated in her role as Executive Director for Xplor Canada, one of the leading industry associations in Canada. She was employed at a management level with one of the largest computer service bureaus in Canada, managing major projects for the division responsible for the delivery of laser printing, distribution, COM and data entry services for clients in the insurance, financial, manufacturing, government, and retail industries. Previously Wendy was Vice President, Operations for a mid-size service bureau providing prescription filling systems, both online and PC based, for drug stores across Canada. She received her certification as an Electronic Document Professional (EDP) from Xplor International in 2003, in recognition of her expertise in the industry.. |
