acadami™ Announces 29 Students Successfully Complete Best Practices Program in First Week
Richardson, Texas, May 12, 2008 – acadami™ has announced that 29 attendees of its Document Production Best Practices program offered in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto in May 2008 will be eligible to receive certificates of completion and one CEU (Continuing Education Unit). These attendees met the attendance requirements and passed the exam as prescribed by the certification program defined by Xplor International for CEU credits. Xplor has already certified acadami‘s Document Production Fundamentals program which was successfully presented in Boston at the 2008 Xplor Document University, and acadami‘s Document Production Best Practices program represents yet another step in acadami and Xplor working together to improve industry knowledge and skills.
The Document Production Best Practices program focuses on the concepts, technologies, and best practices associated with automated transaction document production. The modules in the one day event will take the student from Data to Doorstep.
The second week of Canadian events is being held May 13 in Calgary and May 14 in Vancouver, with an additional course in Mississauga in mid-June. Plans are well underway to offer this program shortly in the United States and Europe.
The new Best Practices workshop was developed and is being taught through the collaboration of industry experts Bill Broddy edp, William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin edp, and Michael Turton edp.
Attendees are enthusiastic about this new kind of education available to industry professionals that is both content-rich and vendor-neutral. Typical comments by attendees in Canada this last week were “Excellent course & topics – the time just flew by!” and “Great teachers, great content”.
