Fifty-nine Xplorers successfully complete Document Production Best Practices certificate course
Richardson, Texas, June 30, 2008 – Fifty-nine students in the Northeastern US and Canada were awarded their Xplor Document University Document Production Best Practices certificate and one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) for successfully completing the course and exam.

This is the first time that Xplor has authorized an Xplor Document University course to be taught in the field. The acadami™ developed course updates industry participants on emerging technologies, workflow, and best practices in today’s automated transaction document production environment. The course is certified for current, relevant information without vendor bias.
“The course was well received by those attending with an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5,” said Bill Broddy, course instructor and class manager. “This certainly encourages us to expand our course coverage for this and our other acadami XDU offerings.”
The new course was developed and taught with the collaboration of industry experts Bill Broddy edp, William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin edp, and Michael Turton edp.

- William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin has more than 25 years’ experience in the fields of software development and consulting, in both technical and management positions. Prior to his current role, he was General Manager of Xplor International and was Vice-President of Product Marketing at Xenos. Dr Michael Turton has been designing documents for over two decades during which time he witnessed the birth of desktop printing and laser production printers. He established Cavendish Consultants in 1992, principally to design mission critical transactional documents and forms. His designs not only look good but work well, a combination of form and function.
