Ten Document Professionals Complete acadami‘s First Document Production Fundamentals Program on the Road
Richardson, Texas, August 28, 2008 – acadami™ has announced that ten document professionals have satisfied the attendance and examination requirements for its first offering of Document Production Fundamentals on the road. The two-day course, which covers the basic fundamental technologies, processes, and terms for the document production process, had previously been offered only as part of Xplor International’s Xplor Document University annual event. Now, acadami has joined with Xplor chapters and regions in extending content to document professionals where they live and work.
“The mission of Xplor International is to deliver strong educational content through our chapters and regions as well as the educational arm of Xplor International, the Xplor Document University. Xplor-certified education offered by providers such as acadami is a strong part of that effort,” says Skip Henk, edp, President and CEO of Xplor International.
The ten document professionals who attended the two-day course at Seneca College’s Markham campus August 26 and 27 and satisfied the attendance and examination requirements will be receiving 2 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for their achievements.

Dr Michael Turton has been designing documents for over two decades during which time he witnessed the birth of desktop printing and laser production printers. He established Cavendish Consultants in 1992, principally to design mission critical transactional documents and forms. His designs not only look good but work well, a combination of form and function.
